
Guy Furrow is a photographer and make-up artist residing in New York City.
Guy’s photography has been featured in Entertainment Weekly, The Guardian, The Times, The New York Post, Parade, Salon, Renowned for Sound, Medium, Aesthetic Magazine, Consequence, RAD/ATL, Audacy, Cosmopolitan, Dazed, Screen Daily, Rock Cellar, and Voyage LA.
He also shot the band photo for Blondie’s 2017 album, “Pollinator” (with artwork by Shepard Fairey).
During the pandemic, his FaceTime portraits series, showcasing people from across the globe during lockdown, was reported on by CNN.
His fine art photography has sold extensively in both group and solo shows with his Bubble Bath series receiving raves.
Guy is also a make-up artist, painting the faces of models, actors, and musicians for both photo shoots and live performances.
Over the years, he has done make-up for artists such as Annie Lenox (Eurythmics – “Angel” single cover), Christy Turlington (PETA campaign shot by Steven Klein), Deee-Lite (World Clique album cover shot by Michael Halsband as well as the “Groove is in the Heart” music video), and Paris is Burning (film poster).
Most recently, he did the make-up for Debbie Harry (Blondie) for the 2024 Gucci campaign, shot by Nan Goldin.
Guy is also the lead singer of Toilet Boys (a.k.a. Miss Guy), known as “a pioneer in the DJ world” (Marc Spitz/Spin) having been one of the first Open Format DJs, and a cutting-edge songwriter and solo artist.
